About ABA Therapy

We integrate ABA therapy into play activities so to help our clients reach their goals in a variety of areas, including:

· Communication skills – We teach both verbal and nonverbal functional communication skills to help your child communicate effectively with those around them can help clients reduce challenging behaviors

· Social skills – We offer a variety of social skills groups and activities via telehealth to      help  our clients practice the skills they learn during therapy in real-world situations

· Academic skills – We teach our clients school readiness skills that can help children and adolescents prepare for a seamless transition into a traditional, inclusive classroo

· ADLs - From basic skills like toilet training or tooth brushing for our early intervention clients to more advanced skills like budgeting and money management for our oldest clients, we teach a wide array of activities of daily living to promote as much independence as possible.

· Behavior Reduction -  APT collaborates with caretakers to identify specific challenging behaviors for their children then develop individualized behavior support plans to reduce them. With reduced challenging behaviors, your child’s has more time and ability to acquire many new skills for a much more improved life.
